Wally the Waiter Wonders #1

It’s your turn to set the table.

Where do you put the fork?

Where do you put the knife and spoon?

Where’s a good place for the napkin?

Where does the glass go?

If you are having burgers, fries, and

salad what else should be put on the table?

You’re having toast, eggs, and juice for

breakfast what else should be put on the table?

Depends on the day. breakfast, I am lucky to get silverware on the table.
At Dinner I put the fork under the napkin. I know where to put the knife and spoon but if I do not think we need them depending what is being served….I do not set them out. Lazy I guess. I’ve been known to put one knife out for all to share not when I have company) just with family. We certainly do not set a formal table except on special occasions. Turkey day, maybe christmas. Have not thought about table etiquette for a while. Thanks

Pretty much the same for me Sam. It’s a joke at our house that if we actually put out a knife for everyone we would wear them out faster!
